We're happy to announce that the
SX Magazine Awards are back in 2018 for a Third Edition, and they'll be bigger than ever. Two years ago we decided to create this event as a chance for the Adult Industry community to party and celebrate the talents of it's members. Since that First Edition, You walked with us providing your support and enthusiasm, and we're grateful to you for that.
For this reason we decided to expand the categories in which we'll assign the Awards, to reward the variety of skills of the members of this amazing community. We're looking forward to start this new adventure with you.
The SX Awards 2018 are offered by:
The contest is open to photographers, models, directors and actors who created or performed in photos or movies that were created after November 15th 2017.
Awards will be assigned for the following categories:
- Best Erotic Photo
- Best Explicit Photo
- Best Photographer
- Best Female Model
- Best Male Model
- Best H.A.M. Photo
- Best T.T. Photo
- Best F.F. Photo
- Best Movie
- Best Director
- Best Actress
- Best Actor
- Best Cinematography
- Best Storyline
- Best Editing
- Best Sex Scene
The category '
Best Erotic Photo' is open to each SL resident who created a non explicit sex picture published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Explicit Photo' is open to each SL resident who created a picture of an explicit sex scene, published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best H.A.M. Photo' is open to each SL resident who created a photo for the Happy Ass Monday challenge, published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best T.T. Photo' is open to each SL resident who created a photo for the Topless Tuesday challenge, published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best F.F. Photo' is open to each SL resident who created a photo for the Fellatio Friday challenge, published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Photographer' is open to each SL resident who created a picture published after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Female Model' is open to each SL resident whose female avatar is featured in a picture created after November 15th 2017.
The category '
Best Male Model' is open to each SL resident whose male avatar is featured in a picture created after November 15th 2017.
The category '
Best Movie' is open to each SL resident or group of residents who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Cinematography' is open to each SL resident or group of residents who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Storyline' is open to each SL resident or group of residents who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Editing' is open to each SL resident or group of residents who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Director' is open to each SL resident who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, which features SL Avatars.
The category '
Best Sex Scene' is open to each SL resident or group of residents who created a movie released after November 15th 2017, where there's an explicit sex scene between SL Avatars.
For the Categories Best Male Model, Best Female Model, Best Actor and Best Actress, the
Non-Gender-Binary avatars can apply for the category they feel most comfortable with.
To be eligible for the awards, residents must fill in an application form with the links of the works they wish to submit, and their calling card. The applications form can be found at the
VIR Studios HQ ( click here for a landmark ).
It's possible to submit an application from September 1st 2018 to November 3rd 2018. The application is personal and there is no cost to apply.
Each resident can apply once for each category. Ex: you shoot a photo and acted in a movie? You can apply for both the categories 'Best Photographer' and 'Best Actor/Actress', submitting two different application forms. Be sure to fill in two different application forms, one for each category.
WARNING:
A resident cannot apply twice for the same category. Applying twice or more for the same category will automatically cause to be banned from the competition.
It's possible to candidate a third person to the competition. In case you candidate a third person, their participation is subject to their explicit consent and the approval of the SX Awards Organization.
To apply for the category Best Photo the participant must join the '
SX Magazine' Group on Flickr and add their photo to the group ( The SX Magazine group is Opted Out ). Each participant can submit one photo to apply for this category.
The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges selected among the experienced and respected veterans of the SL Adult Industry. The names of the judges will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
Awards will also be assigned through a popular vote open to all the residents. Certain restrictions will be applied to ensure the winners are chosen for their talent rather than popularity.
The winners will be announced in a Gala Night Event, to which all the applicants are invited.
